JOHNSTON, IOWA – From inside the EPA, Paul Argyropoulos oversaw the implementation of the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) for over a decade. As current President of Policy Nexus Advisors, he will share his thoughts on the history and future of the RFS with attendees at the 2019 Iowa Renewable Fuels Summit later this January.

“From current concerns over small-refinery exemptions, to the future of the RFS beyond 2022, the answers to many questions in our industry today depend greatly upon the actions taken by the EPA,” said Iowa Renewable Fuels Association Managing Director Lucy Norton. “For those of us trying to read the tea leaves and grow the biofuels industry, Paul’s address to Summit attendees will be a can’t-miss event. He will provide an insider’s perspective on the EPA’s oversight of the RFS and insight into what we could expect for the future.”

The Summit is free to attend and open to the public. Registration is required. The last day to preregister is January 25, 2019. The Summit will take place at the Meadows Conference Center at Prairie Meadows in Altoona, Iowa on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.
