Jerry Tegels has joined the team at H2O Innovation as the Biofuels Sales Manager. Prior to joining H2O Innovation, Jerry has worked with water treatment chemicals and equipment  for over 30 years. Jerry started his career as a Chemical Engineer at a Ryko Manufacturing, where he worked on Reverse Osmosis systems in the early days of RO, as well chemical blending and chemical application systems. For the past 20+ years, he has been in technical/chemical sales with Betz/GE Water and Buckman in the ethanol process treatment and Industrial water treatment areas. Utilizing his experience with RO and filtration systems, Jerry will strive to grow the biofuels and power industry segments for H2O. Jerry has been involved with many of the industry trade associations, including Growth Energy, Renewable Fuels Association (RFA), Renewable Fuels Nebraska (RFN), Iowa Renewable Fuels Association (IRFA) and the American Coalition for Ethanol (ACE). He is on the Editorial Board for Ethanol Today magazine and has advocated for the biofuels industry on the national and state levels, making 14 trips to Washington, DC in the past 6 years. He is based in Ankeny, Iowa.
