Member News: David Lindenmuth Joins EcoEngineers as RNG Services Director

EcoEngineers is thrilled to announce that Mr. David Lindenmuth has joined our team as the new RNG Services Director. In this role, Mr. Lindenmuth will oversee national sales of all of EcoEngineers’ consulting and verification services into the fast-growing renewable natural gas (RNG) line of business.

Mr. Lindenmuth has been working in the energy industry for more than 15 years and has deep experience in natural gas, electricity, and RNG markets. Prior to joining EcoEngineers, he served as Director of Business Development at UGI Energy Services. He holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Drexel University and a Master of Business Administration from St. Joseph’s University.

RNG projects capture methane from existing food waste, animal manure, wastewater sludge, and garbage, and repurpose it as a clean, green energy source. Nearly 450,000 MMBtus of RNG was used in the transportation sector in the U.S. in 2021, and this volume is expected to grow rapidly over the next few years due to incentives provided by California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard and similar programs being enacted by other states and countries.

“Dave is passionate about driving growth in the RNG sector. His demonstrated leadership in sales, operations, and marketing of natural gas and RNG is what EcoEngineers needs to form new partnerships, develop strategic alliances, and solidify our position as the leading provider of decarbonization services to the natural gas and transportation sectors,” commented EcoEngineers CEO, Shashi Menon.

Mr. Lindenmuth will be taking over the role of RNG Services Director from Mr. Brad Pleima, P.E., who will adopt new responsibilities at EcoEngineers as company President and oversee all of EcoEngineers sales and operations within the growing market for consulting and verification services as companies try to decarbonize their operations and supply chains.
