JOHNSTON, IOWA – The Russian invasion of Ukraine significantly disturbed agriculture and energy markets creating uncertainty that rippled around the globe.  Dr. Yuval Weber, the 2023 Iowa Renewable Fuels Summit keynote speaker, will discuss his view of what is driving Russia and what the future may hold.

Dr. Weber, distinguished Fellow at the Brute Krulak Center for Innovation and Future Warfare at Marine Corps University in Quantico, VA, is the subject-matter expert on Russian military and political strategy.

“As the war in Ukraine continues with no end in sight, we are excited that Dr. Weber will share his expert views on what is driving the situation and where it may go,” Shaw said. “The devastation we are witnessing has had a profound impact on ag and energy markets that will likely last years into the future.
