Iowa On Farm Biodiesel Credit Program

The program provides fuel credits to Iowa farmers filling an on-farm bulk tank in Iowa, and being used in an agricultural operation. The credit is 25-cents per gallon for B11 and 50-cents per gallon for B20 and above.  There is a maximum of $500 in fuel credit reimbursement per diesel end user.  The user must submit information below and an itemized 2024 receipt including the type of fuel purchased and number of gallons.

NOTE:  Previous applicants are eligible for an additional B20 credit if they had received a credit for B11. Applicants that have previously received a B20 credit are not eligible for an additional credit.

Program Limitations:

  1. Funds are limited and will be awarded on a first come first served basis.
  2. Maximum of $500 credit per diesel end user.
  3. Must be 18 years old to participate.
  4. Fuel must be delivered to a farm located in Iowa.
  5. Fuel must be purchased in 2024.
  6. Previous applicants are eligible for an additional B20 credit if they had received a credit for B11. Applicants that have previously received a B20 credit are not eligible for an additional credit.
