JOHNSTON, IA – It is no secret that many countries around the globe are setting ambitious decarbonization standards. A panel of trade experts at the 2025 Iowa Renewable Fuels Summit will examine how these goals are increasing interest in ethanol and open up new opportunities for American farmers and biofuels producers. The free event will be held on February 4, 2025 and is open to the public.

Another stop on America’s road trip to prosperity, the Export Expressway panel will feature:

  • Ryan LeGrand, President & Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Grains Council
  • Fred Ghatala, President of Advanced Biofuels Canada
  • Hagan Rose, Director of International Sales & Marketing at Eco-Energy

“We are in constant competition as we all work to achieve a cleaner future,” said Iowa Renewable Fuels Association Marketing Director Lisa Coffelt. “We look forward to our trade panelists discussing how the policy goals made in places like Canada, Japan, and the Far East are influencing ethanol export markets for US farmers and biofuels producers. You won’t want to miss how evolving customer demand shapes what US producers need to do to stay competitive on the world stage.”

In addition to the Export Expressway panel, a separate Policy Parkway panel will provide expert insight on the direction of national biofuels policy and how it might impact critical biofuels issues. Change is in the air in Washington, DC and these insiders can provide a roadmap for the next four years.
